Did The Cherokee Change Into Wolves

Moisés Bertoni. Always worth a visit more. Orchids Home

Two days ago I had the opportunity to revisit the Scientific Monument Moisés Bertoni (is my second visit this year) this time together with my students in grade nine. As before, this visit was very rewarding for me and for students. Here I share with you some pictures that were taken at the scene. Enjoy:
"Moises Santiago Bertoni came to this area in 1888. In the midst of hardship and deprivation was established in the virgin forest and began to approach the object of his coming to America: Nature study. " (Former dwelling of the wise, data in 1901)
"Not many years passed and the Sage Bertoni could muster a Regional History Museum Natural, comprising 7000 titles of botany, zoology 1500, 600 mineralogy, 400, ethnography and 1000 forest products, agricultural and industrial. Today we can see in the Bertoni Museum part of the studied species. "(Inside the Museum)
" He had chosen this jungle region so remote from centers of civilization was considered the most appropriate for their scientific purposes "(View of the Paraná River, from the Museum)
