Synopsis
R is a youth with an existential crisis, he is a zombie. Shuffling through an America destroyed by war, social collapse and hunger with no sense of their dead comrades, but yearns for something more than blood and brains. He can only speak a few syllables in grunts, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and nostalgia. Has no memory, no identity and no pulse, but has dreams.
After experiencing the memories of a teenager while consumed his brain, R makes a decision unexpected start a tense, uncomfortable, and strangely sweet relationship with the victim's human girlfriend. Julie is a burst of color in the sad and gray landscape surrounding R. Their decision to protect not only R but also transform their dead comrades and perhaps his lifeless world.

- The film is being produced by Summit Entertainment and directed by Jonathan Levine, who also will do the screenplay. We have already confirmed that Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer will star in Warm Bodies.
